How to cook
Recipe for Dum Aloo using Lal Mirch:
Boil 500g peeled baby potato and keep aside.
Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil, add 100g chopped onion, saute’ until it turns golden brown.
Add 1 ½ tbsp ginger garlic paste and 1 tsp green chilli paste to make thick gravy.
Add 1 ½ tsp MTR Garam Masala ; MTR Coriander Powder and MTR Lal Mirch / Chilli Powder each 1 tsp, 150g(1 cup) tomato puree, 1 tbsp tamarind extract, salt and sugar as per your taste in the gravy and mix well.
Add a pinch of asafoetida, boiled potatoes and 150 ml (1 cup) water in the gravy and mix well.
Garnish with green coriander and serve hot.
